All things are in a state of absolute motion, where movement leads to collision, and thus force. Consequently, invisible sound waves ripple outward from the object itself.

Precisely cut edges of bodies protrude or recede towards the center, where gravity exerts a powerful, irresistible pull. The pain of flesh and desire is never static but flows and morphs with time. On this tension-filled stage, figures and scenes brew with an energy ready to erupt at any moment.

"Desires, phantom pains, illusions, hallucinations are always with me, triggered by specific events."

Pain is an antidote when faced with a numb body. It is akin to the golden arrow in Teresa's dream or the spear that blinded Samson. Pain is also a perilous temptation: it temporarily disconnects us from the signifier chain, promising sublime transcendence.

Q: This exhibition displays your works from different stages. The latest pieces are more minimalist, focusing more on "precise expression"?
A: Different emotional stages naturally lead to changes in artistic expression. The reduction or simplification of elements in my recent works is an "iterative transition" within my personal trajectory, preparing for the next creative phase, akin to fine-tuning costume details before stepping onto the stage.

Q: Can you share the direction of your future creations?
A: My focus is not on a specific direction or series, but on completing two easel projects. Each work will revolve around a concept or question, existing independently yet tied to the central theme, serving as both inquiry and resolution.

Q: Your works An unpredictable necessity and Sunken ark exude a strong sense of stage and dramatic tension. What's the source of these conflicts?
A: The theatrical expression creates a sense of stage, addressing a personal theme of duality, dialogues between light and darkness, redemption, and being redeemed. "Life is a metaphor for stories, living amidst seemingly eternal conflicts."

Q: How do you view the body, or the relationship between soul and body?
A: "The body is like a dream, an illusion."
"The body is an illusion, born from confusion."

Q: The Soul Body series in this exhibition shows more subtle yet intense tension in desire and pain compared to previous works.
A: The Soul Body magnifies parts of the body, avoiding or erasing identity features, shifting from individual to generic traits. By expressing desire in genericity, it's more subtle yet universally relatable, and the perceived 'ferocity' is this strong sense of identification.

Q: Do you delve deep into yourself for creation, exploring desire, phantom pain, and cruelty?
A: I avoid deliberately digging deep into myself for creation, as this forced action might not aid my art but backfire. However, feelings like desire, phantom pain, illusion, and hallucination are always with me, triggered by specific events. These elusive feelings are both deeply personal and universal, inspiring art, music, movies, and novels that resonate with others, offering relief in shared experience.

Q: In life, do you often find yourself an observer, existing among people?
A: Definitely, but that's only one aspect. An observer is also a character in others' dramas, both a leader and a participant.

Q: Do you mind if some say your work resembles the style of artists like Francis Bacon or Salvador Dali?
A: I don't mind, as worrying is futile. However, I must be careful to absorb influences without becoming too similar or excessive, maintaining clarity in my long-term creative journey and staying alert.
